Meet the Staws
Born in Queens, NY, Sharif Finch first made a name for himself on the football field when he and his family moved to Richmond, VA. He had a legendary career at Henrico HS before he moved on to a storied career at Temple University. In 2018, Sharif joined the Tennessee Titans. During the 2018–2019 and 2019–2020 seasons, he was a key contributor to the team. Sharif is now heading into his 3rd year in the NFL. In the meantime, Sharif has also established himself a great businessman—today, he is the CEO of RSI and owner of the Soaring Finch Food truck.
Adrian Sullivan, Jr.
Adrian Sullivan, Jr. is the president and co-founder of RSI, handling the strategic vision for the brand. He is also a driven mental health advocate, focusing on mental wellness, nourishment and growth. Adrian is a former Temple Football alumnus and graduated from Klein College in 2016. He is based in Philadelphia.
James Banks comes to RSI from Richmond. He is our brand strategist as well as a model for RSI’s merchandise department. James has an infectious energy and is a gamechanger when it comes to perspective. He is not afraid to take the necessary risk to help the brand be seen as unique and forward-thinking.
RSI member Averee Robinson is a youth counselor and psychologist based in Philadelphia. He is from Harrisburg, PA, and had a legendary sports career at Susquehanna Township HS. He went on to dominate on the football field and wrestling mat, where he was individually a two-time state champion. Averee would go on to be a staple on one of the best defensive lines in Temple Football's history. He is a thought-leader who has always challenged the status quo.
Sema’j “Maj” Reed
Sema’j “Maj” Reed is a musician, artist, entertainer, and businessman from Newburgh, NY. Over the last year, Maj has burst onto the Philadelphia music scene as one of the most exciting upcoming artists. With his blend of melodies and witty lyrical content, the sky's the limit for Maj. Expect to hear his music on a large scale very soon.
Coach Shawn “Buddy” Brown
Coach Shawn “Buddy” Brown is a South Jersey native who has always had a passion for football. With his intense style of play, Brown would go on to be of the top recruits in New Jersey and was the top of the 2013 Temple Football recruiting season. Shawn Brown helped lead Williamstown to a state championship in 2012, and he returned as a coach in 2019, where he helped the team win another championship. What makes Coach Brown special is his ability not only to coach and understand football, but also understand how to mold mentally tough young black men.
Leon Johnson is an athlete, musician, and motivational speaker. He has played in the NFL, CFL, and AFL. One of Leon’s greatest talents is being an educator through his art and his motivational raps and speeches. Leon brings logic to the brand, and he is someone who is fully invested in all his endeavors.
Taj Cannon is an artist and the creator of Poscé. The Poscé brand is the center of the art focus at RSI. What separates Taj as an artist is his palette and versatility. He has developed a unique style and creates high-quality garments. Taj has the tools and talent to be a world-renowned artist.
DJ Vic B
DJ Vic B has become one of the most prominent figures in the Philadelphia entertainment scene. With his unique blend of quality DJ technique, event curating, and influence, Vic B shows all the signs of becoming the city’s go-to DJ in the years to come. Vic B grew up in South Jersey, and he is immensely proud of his Nigerian heritage.
Kaitlin Suzuki is a key part of the RSI design team. After playing Temple Lacrosse in college, Kaitlin went on to become an educator in Philadelphia’s non-profit Steppingstone Scholars program. In addition to her passion for educating our youth, Kaitlin also enjoys painting and crafting.
Jordan Taylor is a creative specialist for the RSI brand. She is an entrepreneur from Nashville, TN. In Jordan’s own words, “I am a Jill of all trades who likes to create, transform, and inspire through every project I am a part of.”
